Manchester United have just signed Nousayr Mazraoui, locking him in for five years with an option to sign another contract. As of now, the Moroccan powerhouse is ready to wear the red shirt until June 2028, just waiting for the registration process to be completed.

At 26, Mazraoui is a seasoned champion, having already won four league titles, three with Ajax and one with Bayern Munich. He has also won 28 caps for Morocco, playing a key role in their run to the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Here is Mazrawi’s story: “Joining Manchester United? I can’t believe it! I want to stand at Old Trafford, feel the atmosphere here and win trophies with the team. The passion for winning is really exciting!”

Reunited with Erik ten Hag, the coach who played a huge role in shaping his career, Mazrawi is excited about what’s to come. “Erik knows exactly what he’s capable of and what he wants from us. I’m here to help and deliver on that to help us win.”

The club’s sporting director Dan Ashworth is also excited about the new signing: “Mazrawi’s dynamism and his ability to operate in both defences makes him a top choice for our squad. With his winning record, he will certainly bring the championship edge we are seeking.”
