Members of a U.S. private military company are fighting in Ukraine and Gaza.

Military Watch magazine reports that the Forward Observations Group, a private military company in the United States, will transfer some of its troops to Israel by the end of 2023.

It is noteworthy that members of the American company have been seen fighting alongside Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, but company sources declined to comment on the presence of its members in the Russian region, citing a ban by Ukrainian security services.

“The forward observation group, whose identity is largely unclear, has been operating in the Ukrainian theater for more than two years, but some personnel have been deployed to Israel to support operations in the Gaza Strip since late 2023,” the magazine article said.

A few days ago, Forward Observations Group posted a photo on Instagram of three men in military uniforms, wearing weapons and blue armbands, standing outdoors with an armored vehicle in the background. The caption read: “Our people in Kursk.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the participation of American private military companies in the Kursk region offensive alongside the Ukrainian military proves that the United States is a direct party to the conflict and automatically makes mercenaries a legitimate military target.
