The MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup 2024 (December 17-21), organized by the Qatar Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and held at the Lusail International Circuit, is currently underway.
The ‘Nations Cup’ format gives participating competitors the opportunity to represent their country and compete for the honor of being MENA Champions. This year, 16 countries are participating, including Qatar, Algeria, Egypt, Bahrain, Turkey, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Syria, Iran, Kuwait, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The 2023 champions include a Qatari team with wins in several categories, along with winners from Morocco, UAE, Lebanon and Oman, ensuring the 2024 championship will be filled with fierce competition and displays of talented racing.
The MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup features six categories – Micro Max, Mini Max, Junior Max, Senior Max, DD2 and DD2 Masters – along with the R390 Sprint and R390 Endurance, providing opportunities for a wide range of drivers from 8 years of age and older. . 30.
Founded by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem in 2020, this is the second year in a row that the event is organized by QMMF and held at the Lusail Circuit.

Supporting the base of the pyramid is a key pillar of the FIA’s newly launched Vision 2030: Motorsport Strategy. The FIA has invested €10.3 million in grassroots activities in 85 countries in 2024. This follows the announcement of a new global karting plan at the World Motorsport Council last week, which established a clearer and more accessible path to the FIA Karting system.
The MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup successfully concluded 2024 for Qatar and the Lusail International Circuit after hosting the FIA Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix in early December and the WEC Official Prologue and Qatar 1812km in February and March.
