Mexican Open: Qualifier learner Tien Stuns World’s No. 2 Alexander Zverev

The world’s second -largest Alexander Zverev was an early exit at the Mexican Open due to the defeat of a straight set with teenage qualifiers Tien.

Australian Open Finalist Zverev, the best seed of Acapulco, showed the performance of error when American tien won 6-3 6-4.

The 19 -year -old Tien won Briton Cameron Norrie in the previous round and faced the Czech Tomas Machac in the quarter -finals.

Tien said, “I just went out and tried to control the court’s side.”

“Obviously I knew it would be a hard game.

Tien is the youngest American who has won the third place since 2001 and has won the third place.

He enjoyed a few months of memorable months, and in December, he advanced to the final in the next ATP final, leading to the fourth round in the Australian Open in January.
