With superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers returning under center for the New York Jets to begin the 2024 NFL season, the storied franchise has a chance to become a legitimate Super Bowl title contender this year. soccer.

Heading into Week 4 against the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium, the Jets have won two straight after dropping the season opener on the road to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Jets appeared to gain some momentum in Week 3 when they easily handled the division rival New England Patriots, but were tested Sunday against a strong defense determined to make some noise this week.

The Jets’ offensive line had no answer for the Broncos’ pass rush. Rodgers was under siege on every snap, so it never looked good when the 40-year-old quarterback suffered an Achilles injury under center.

After the loss to the Broncos, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, a die-hard Jets fan, took to his X account and blasted the team’s coaching staff. Because he believed coach Robert Saleh and his team would destroy the team.

Saleh took a lot of heat during his time as the Jets’ head coach, perhaps understandably so, as he didn’t do much to prove his worth while being the sideline leader in New York.

Considering the high expectations this team has with Rodgers as its quarterback, it will be interesting to see how things play out for the Jets and whether Saleh’s job moves forward.
