Mike Kafka, a New York GiantS and attack coordinator, finished the interview with the New Orleans Saints on Saturday. He believes landing an empty head coaching job is the favorite.
KAFKA is “hopeful” and he is known to have begun to consider the person who hired himself as his attack and defense coordinator.
In a strange twist, ESPN’s Jordan Raaran reported that KAFKA is expected to bring Wink Martindale, a former Giants defensive coordinator.
Interesting tidbit: If Mike gets a Saints Job, several league sources expect to bring WINK Martindale to the defensive coordinator. They clearly worked with the Giants and were the key to early success in 2022. https://t.co/0hwubo2tha

Martindale worked side by two seasons with KAFKA for two seasons with the Giants in the regime of Joe School and Brian Daboll. However, the situation between Martindale and Daboll quickly deteriorated and was ugly and openly divided.
After “resignation” in East Rutherford, Martindale was sent to the Michigan defensive coordinator last season, where he received the largest coordinator salary in the country.
Martindale interviewed Atlanta Falcon and Indianapolis Cols during this coaching cycle and attracted the attention of Cincinnati Bengal.
Kafka, meanwhile, was maintained after Margin Dale’s exit and was promoted to prevent side movement. And he publicly talked about all the right things, but many reports suggest that they are particularly happy to remove their duties.
Given that Martindale will be the main choice of KAFKA as a defensive coordinator, it can be suggested that it reflects the opinion of the chief coach of Daboll and Kafka’s Giants.
When KAFKA and Martindale arrive at the land of New Olians, it doesn’t take so long to see the Giants and multiple. The two will play at Caesars SuperDome in 2025.
