MONews

We are separated from Mobile World Congress (MWC) in one day, but the news cycle is already stirring. We look forward to more announcements from industry leaders about cellular at this year’s heel on the heel of Samsung and Oneplus’s recent smartphone launch.

In addition, these three Polish calls of MWC 2025 are the most bizarre of what I have seen.

As always, global brands, including Xiaomi, Honor and Huawei, will attend and perhaps many of the show floor. Google and Samsung are expected to exist, but the possibility of major announcements is less. And there’s almost no one who always comes.

We are a round-up of the best products that the ZDNET team has seen during the MWC week, including multiple smartphone releases and Wi-Fi-based wireless earbirds. Please keep watching this list without any special order throughout the week.

1. 200 mega pixel camera phones Xiaomi

Xiaomi 14 Ultra was one of the best camera phones tested last year, so there was a high expectation of Barcelona. In any case, Xiaomi presented a more competent sequel using a new 200 megapixel periscope sensor, which is excellent for maintaining the details of portrait photographs, distant subjects and low -tidal enrolle. The new camera array is also handled with durable and dazzling lens cover.

Also, finally, I found an Android phone that can replace $ 3,500 Sony camera.

The rest of the XIAOMI 15 Ultra is flagship Android from a 6.7 -inch AMOLED display that uses peaks in 3,200 knits to 90W wired and 80W wireless charging speed. Hyperos for XIAOMI’s Android operating system has also been improved with a series of AI features including a softer animation and Gemini.

2. Lenovo’s bright ideas for concept laptops

Lenovo is not ashamed of the concept device. Especially when technical lovers are expected. This year, computer manufacturers have launched a series of unequal development products, including a solar yoga notebook and a sinkbook with a long flip -out display. They are ambitious, unnecessary, and fun to test because they were discovered when they demonstrated the device before the show and I was demonstrating the device before the show.

Main takeout? Solar yoga laptops do not have to use the passive charging function to extend the battery life and completely recharge. Thinkbook, called the code name flip, can be direction in five ways, including presentation mode, tall display mode and tablet mode. You will have to settle down on a shaking and glossy screen.

3. Ultraportable Android tablet will notify Samsung

Honor Pad V9 Tablet

Honor Pad V9 is the latest tablet of the company and offers a lot of utility at the price, as reviewed by ZDNET Maria Diaz. In about $ 500 (after conversion), the PAD V9 is driven by MediatEk Dimensity 8350 Elite Chip to handle most of the work and game applications. In addition, the test is equipped with a 10,100mAh battery that lasts longer than the iPad model recently.

Also: Is Samsung still sweating? It is an honor to reveal the ‘Alpha Plan’ at MWC 2025.

The Unsung Hero of the PAD V9 is a series of gaze protection, and Diaz uses AI to use the Docus part of the screen to reduce the eye deformation. This concentrated rendering technology reminds you of an XR/VR headset that relies on eye tracking.

4. The first wireless earbird running on Wi-Fi

The new XIAOMI BUDS 5 Pro is the latest earbird featuring QualComm’s S7 Pro chip. Enhanced silicone allows the earbird to stream the audio through Wi-Fi pairing instead of traditional Bluetooth, so as one 96kHz or 24-bit scary audio play within the network range of the connected router.

In addition: QualComm’s new audio chips can make cheaper headphones more expensive.

Theoretically, the Wi-Fi connection earbird should be able to stream audio without hiccups or stuttering, even a few rooms (or layers) with a cell phone or connected device. The most impressive part is that Xiaomi argues that Buds 5 Pro is no longer consumed than pairing through Bluetooth through Wi-Fi.

5. Samsung shows a true ‘budget’ phone

Samsung started the MWC weekend by issuing three new Galaxy A series calls, not two, and all prices were priced at less than $ 500. Although not all iPhone users switch to the Galaxy phone as quickly as Samsung, it is not a coincidence for the company to release the mid -range offering that Apple is pitching a new $ 599 iPhone 16E to the public.

In addition, this $ 399 Samsung Galaxy is a mid -range phone that most people should buy.

Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 5G calls are sold for $ 499, $ 399 and $ 299, respectively, and the list of layers is determined by display quality, camera hardware, processors and materials. The most valuable phone of the three should still be determined, but it is safe to say that Samsung deals with a lot of prices throughout the year.

What should I expect at MWC 2025

1. Google

Android manufacturers usually do not launch new hardware at MWC. Instead, we have an alley between the bottom of the show to show the latest software tools and partners. You can say that the Google service is a big metaphor for how it is connected to everything else in MWC.

Also: the best Android phone to buy in 2025

This year’s demo will focus on AI, cloud computing and other productivity tools. As the first season of Formula begins, it will not be surprised if there is a MCLAREN F1 car with chrome branding.

2. Samsung

Last year, Samsung created the greatest flexibility when MWC was presenting a non -regular galaxy ring to the public. This year, the company has the opportunity to withdraw bigger with the Galaxy S25 Edge.

The recent rumor is to point to the April launch date for Samsung’s thinnest phone, but I will not rule out the possibility of it early. Mobile lovers will be prepared.

3. Nothing

Nothing is a phone 2A plus

Last year’s Nothing Nothing Phone 2A Plus was one of the best mid -range calls we tested.

Kerry Wan/Zdnet

Tech Company, headquartered in London, did not make much effort to wrap the 3A series, the upcoming phone release. It has been published in essence Full designUnboxing Experience for camera functions, new AI functions and social media before the launch on March 4 has little imagination.

In addition: I prioritize the following features, then discard my pixel 9 Pro for Next Nothing Phone.

In other words, if our experience does not have any signs of testing the product, Devil lies in detail, especially in the new Nothing Phone 3a and 3A Pro. We will soon learn more about the new phone.

4. Motorola

When I was in MWC a year ago, I had a chance to wear Motorola’s ambitiously clumsy smartphone. It was the most advanced slab bracelet that everyone in the room would never come to the market. But the test experience and the boldness of the company have made the concept device a memorable device. Motorola is hoping to change Barcelona’s sleeves this week into another deception.

5. TCL

TCL NXTPAPER phone
Kerry Wan/Zdnet

TCL has been a long -standing competitor in the budget smartphone space, but it claims that NXTPAPER technology, which emphasizes vision health and tensions, is the best value proposal for the mobile lineup. The company unveiled the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER and TAB 11 NXTPAPER in CES in January and will show a similar model at MWC.

When is the MWC 2025?

The MWC 2025 runs from March 3 to March 6, but manufacturers generally present their own products using the open places across Barcelona to present before the show. The exhibition has been built around the media, analysts, business partners and brands, but anyone can access the show floor. Ticket purchaseThe cost of about $ 1,028.
