The Jonas Brothers have been added to the cast. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025. The brothers will kick off their 20th anniversary celebrations with a medley performance broadcast from New York’s iconic Times Square shortly after midnight. They join previously announced performers Carrie Underwood, Lenny Kravitz, Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton, Laufey, Luis Fonsi, Natasha Bedingfield, T-Pain and more.
Alicia Keys will be celebrated at the fourth annual event. Recording Academy Honorary Award presented by Black Music Collective Alicia is a Dr. Alumni, which celebrates musical excellence, entrepreneurial achievement, philanthropy, and significant impact around the world. He will receive the Dre Global Impact Award.
The Recording Academy also announced the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, Trustees Award and Technical GRAMMY Award recipients. Special Achievement Award Ceremony Frankie Beverly, The Clash, Dr. Bobby Jones, Taj Mahal, Prince, Roxanne Shante and Frankie Vallie are Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients. Erroll Garner, Glyn Johns and Tania Leon are Trustees Award recipients. Dr. Leo Beranek is a Technical GRAMMY Award winner.
Last night, Usher wrapped up the North American leg. Usher: Past, Present, Future In Miami, Florida, Usher brought the crowd to its feet and was joined on stage by Uncle Luke, DJ Khaled and JT Money as surprise guests. North America sold more than 800,000 tickets and had 62 sold-out shows. Usher is heading to Europe next year and will visit Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.
Earlier this week, Big Time Rush hosted a special one-night experience for fans at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut to celebrate the holidays. Big Time Rush on the Ice It featured sold-out concerts and skating performances. One of the biggest surprises was when Carlos showed off his infamous black hockey helmet, a nod to the Nickelodeon show. This was the first time the helmet appeared at a Big Time Rush concert.
Also hosted this week by Spotify. Billions Club Live Join The Weeknd in Los Angeles to celebrate his status as the artist with the most tracks on Spotify, reaching over 1 billion streams. He performed his hits to nearly 2,000 of his top Spotify fans. Lionsgate has announced that The Weeknd’s first feature film, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” will be released on May 16, 2025, to coincide with his album debut and concert tour of the same name. The film was directed by Trey Edward Schultz and stars The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan.
Billie Eilish has partnered with Support+Feed and American Express to provide critical support to families and individuals in multiple cities. HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: TOUR. This partnership allows small businesses to provide more than 30,000 delicious, nutritious meals to community members in need across the city.
SZA has released her long-awaited album. SOS Deluxe: Lana, An expanded version of her critically acclaimed album SOS. She released the music video for “Drive” featuring Ben Stiller. The album also features Kendrick Lamar, who will join him on tour in 2025. SZA is also set to star in the upcoming film “One of Them Days” alongside Keke Palmer on January 17, 2025.
Katy Perry was revealed. 1432This is a deluxe edition of her album that includes four additional tracks, including the previously unreleased “OK”. Katie begins tour of a lifetime The first performance will be held in Mexico City on April 23, 2025.
