The CMA announced that George Strait will receive the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 58th Annual CMA Awards on November 20. This award honors the most recognized and iconic artist in country music. Previous winners include Willie Nelson, Johnny Chas, Dolly Parton and Alan Jackson. Elton John and Brandi Carlile have released a new original song, “Never Too Late,” inspired by the upcoming Disney+ documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late.” The documentary follows Elton as he looks back on his life and the early days of his 50-year career. The documentary, directed by RJ Cutler and David Furnish, is released on December 14.
