Voters in some of the most important battleground states trust Donald Trump more than Kamala Harris on foreign policy, according to a recent poll from the Cato Institute.

This is especially important as the world is on edge due to the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Most Americans are tired of being entangled in foreign conflicts and remember the peace during Trump’s first term.

Breitbart News report:

Poll: Voters Trust Donald Trump More Than Kamala Harris on Foreign Policy

A poll released Monday found that voters trust former President Donald Trump more than Vice President Kamala Harris on foreign policy.

The Cato Institute commissioned YouGov to survey 1,500 Americans in three key states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

In particular, the poll found that voters trusted Trump’s foreign policy more than Harris’s by a 4-point margin in each state.

They believe Trump is more likely to keep Americans out of foreign wars and conflicts (52% in Wisconsin, 51% in Pennsylvania, 52% in Michigan); more likely to help end the war in Ukraine (51% in Wisconsin, 50% in Pennsylvania, 54% in Michigan); and more likely to make foreign policy decisions that put America’s interests first (51% in Wisconsin, 54% in Pennsylvania, 56% in Michigan).

Polls show Trump and Harris in a tight race in three states: Trump beats Harris 48 percent to 47 percent in Michigan, they are tied in Pennsylvania at 47 percent, and Harris beats Trump 51 percent to 46 percent in Wisconsin.

More information Kato:

Eight in 10 swing state voters said the way Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, was unacceptable. But voters were divided on how Israel responded. Eight in 10 swing state voters support an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Seven in 10 believe that an Israeli-Hamas war in Gaza is important to national security, and most believe that it could lead to a wider war in the Middle East (WI: 73%, PA: 77%, MI: 73%). If a wider war were to break out, these voters would support sending military aid and equipment to Israel (WI: 51%, PA: 50%, MI: 44%) but not intervene in the war itself (WI: 53%, PA: 49%, MI: 48% opposed).

The Biden administration has a terrible record on foreign policy. As a direct participant, Kamala Harris owns the mess.
