OGIO teams up with Kevin Pietersen and Sorai to fight to save rhinos

ogio europe Announced new partnership with cricket legend Kevin Pietersen and social enterprise. Save Our Rhinoceros Africa India (SORAI) – A collaboration that supports brands fighting illegal wildlife trade and poaching.

Founded by Pietersen in 2018, SORAI supports and draws attention to grassroots organizations that rescue abandoned, injured and orphaned and endangered species in Africa and India.

As part of a long-term partnership that will see OGIO become SORAI’s exclusive global lifestyle and golf bag partner, the bag designer and manufacturer will gift backpack products to rangers at South African game reserves connected to SORAI. The brand will also work closely with Pietersen on wider content to raise awareness of the importance of these animals, with the former England cricketer becoming an OGIO ambassador.

Pietersen said: “I am excited to not only work with OGIO as an ambassador for the brand’s great products, but also to continue to help fight poaching and illegal wildlife trade with SORAI.

“Collaborating with the world’s best-loved brands on our projects and products means we can ensure keystones from Africa and India survive and thrive in the wild.”
