In the nearly 10 years since Trump appeared on the national stage, a lot of crime and strange things have happened. The way Trump and MAGA hyped Butler’s return felt like some kind of religious ritual.
President Trump evoked religious imagery throughout the event, and Trump even talked about MAGA angels.
The key point to take away from Butler is that Trump and MAGA are true believers who will do anything to get back into the White House and are desperate to win over the majority of Americans and turn them away.
