Oscar Scivier named Sr. Director of A&R Asia for Warner Music

Warner Music has appointed Oscar Cybeer as Senior Director of A&R for Asia to support the company’s expansion in the region.

Scivier is an experienced A&R executive, producer and artist manager with a global artist roster. deadmau5, madison beer, dj regard, rita ora, zayn, and KeygoHis A&R work has been nominated for Grammy Awards, generated billions of streams, and achieved over a billion hits. 75 Qualification.

Scivier previously served as Director of Music. Digital Arts & Sciences Inc.As Senior Vice President of Music and Content Collective and A&R First Access EntertainmentAccording to his LinkedIn page, he has handled A&R and management for Madison Beer, DJ Regard, Rita Ora, and Alexander Stewart. First Access Entertainment is a joint venture between the CEO and co-founder. Sarah Stennett and Len BlavatnikFounder and Chairman of Warner Music, a major shareholder Access Industry.

He previously served as A&R Director. Ultra Music by Sony MusicManaging artists like KygoEra Istrefi, OMI, Steve Aoki, Mr Probz, Deorro, Louis The Child, MSTR ROGERS, Klingande, Mako, Kap Slap, SNBRN and Bearson.. Prior to working at Ultra Music, he worked as a label manager for Rising Music at Three Six Zero.

In his new role at Warner Music, Scivier will be based in Hong Kong, where he will work closely with the company’s regional management team to develop and implement A&R strategies with a focus on reaching local artists globally.
