“When I was 12 years old, I finally deserved a wheeled class and it didn’t stop since. I learned that imagination and motivation were the key to the success of ceramics.”
Johnston highly values the ties that form activity among people, in addition to the use of pottery as an exit for ‘firing’ his creativity.
“I like Ceramics Studio, regardless of social status or background,” he says, “he likes the level of welcoming the stadium and welcoming everyone,” he says.
Regarding how to achieve this guy, “Our model is to create a space that no one wants to leave. All classes are a pod. We are eating together, piercing the clay together, and together. Everyone in class becomes friends. It is a true community.”
The Native California also maintains a relaxing approach in relation to their educational style, whether celebrities or not.
“I give students a mistake and give me a space to learn. … I can feel a mess, ordinary feel, and make it fun with clay.
But celebrities are clearly interested in clay, and thanks to Johnston’s original HUG a pot experience, he shows a physical touch thanks to the pot of pots made by his mistake.
“After graduating from Road Island Design School in 2004, I worked and hugged me by mistake, but I thought it was absolutely beautiful,” he said.
There, Ceramics experts wanted to capture the same innocence in all his work and give others a chance to do the same thing.
“Hug experiences can take between 30 minutes and 3 hours. … We laugh, we feel all the lives of crying and truly living. It can be an unexpected emotional roller coaster ride and people can move in an irreversible way.”
“Hug usually makes people feel safe, hear, see, and feel happy. It is a very basic but powerful human experience that everyone had at one point. … people are hugging each other.
