Denver wild horse is in a good place now. They came up with the contract of Russell Wilson and led the rookie quarterback even in the second year of Sean Payton.

The big part of their success was the league’s best defender and was defensive by the defensive player Patrick Surtain II of the year. Reflecting the success of last season, SURTAIN shared an insight into the relationship between the quarterback and the head coach.

Denver Broncos’s BO NIX-SEAN PAYTON Dynamic Inner

Quarterback BO NIX ranked 18th in PFSN’s QB+ metrics without the top weapons around. His statistics were not elites, but his 10 wins were the most important numbers.

That’s why SURTAIN believes Nix and Payton work together. RGSURTAIN explained how the two pushed each other.

“They are all doing well because they all understand common topics,” he said.

“They want to win both, both want to make the most of each other, and I think they respect each other in that way.”

The competitive fire has resulted in intense moments inside and outside the field.

One exchange attracted everyone’s attention at the beginning of the season. Las Vegas Raders, Knicks, and Payton were shown in a tense side -of -job debate while winning the division rival. But Surtain sees it differently.

“Obviously, everyone was talking about a small confrontation of the side job, but I won’t call it a confrontation. The two who want to do their best for the team have a view of other things, but when they are there, they respect them and make the team better.”

Some questions at that moment, but I think SURTAIN is good for the locker room. He is seeing that intensity by everyone, including Payton himself, to be responsible for everyone.

“At the end of the day, as a player who turns the coach to success, the coach pushes the player with a success, bringing the maximum confidence in the team and the maximum confidence in himself.”

As defensive players explain in 2024 of the year, that confidence helped NIX to provide a good season. He threw 29 touchdowns by NFL rookies. Despite his difficulties, he was attacked by playoffs and shows his talents and Payton’s coaching ability.

Speaking of Payton, the veteran coach writes a new chapter on his career. When he arrived in Denver in 2023, he promised to restore the franchise to his previous glory.

Two years later, he cleaned the Wilson situation and led Broncos to his first playoffs in 10 years. Now, with elite defense and potential franchise quarterback, Denver looks like a long -term competitor.

“He is a great coach at the end of the day, when he came in at the end of the day.

“He owns what he owns, the qualities he owns as a coach, that is, to create this level of playoffs. His attitude, experience, confidence, personality -I think that all of them lead to the team’s success.”
