Kendrick Lamar and the sound of “Not Like Us” and his latest “GNX” album are set to tour the country next year.

On Tuesday, the rapper announced on social media that he would be embarking on a North American tour with R&B singer SZA, hitting most NFL stadiums. The tour begins at the Minnesota Vikings’ U.S. Bank Stadium and concludes at the Washington Commanders’ Northwest Stadium.

One team expressed excitement about having Lamar perform on the field.

Hours after the West Coast rapper announced his tour, the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium released their own announcement reprising Lamar’s tour. Super Bowl LIX Halftime Announcement.

Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne mimicked Lamar’s announcement by placing an American flag on the video board and putting a football in the stadium’s throwing machine.

The Patriots posted a post mocking “tv off,” a track from Lamar’s latest album, referencing a line from the song produced by DJ Mustard.

Gillette Stadium is home to the New York Jets and New York Giants, with the rapper “getting into an altercation” after two performances at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This is our ninth visit.

Lamar was selected to headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show in New Orleans following a feud with rapper Drake that saw a handful of chart-topping diss albums, including “Like That” and “euphoria.”

The Compton MC released his latest album, “GNX,” on Nov. 22, which features two songs by SZA: “luther” and “gloria.”
