Pearl Jam cancels several European shows due to illness

BERLIN (CelebrityAccess) — Grunge rock legends Pearl Jam have canceled several shows on their ongoing European tour due to illness.

Pearl Jam were due to perform at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the weekend, but announced the show had been cancelled due to “band illness”.

“This decision was the last thing we wanted to have to make, especially since we know so many of you had made travel plans based on our tour dates. Given our current health and the need to avoid further harm, we had no other choice,” a spokesperson for the band said in announcing the schedule change.

Pearl Jam has announced that they will perform at Berlin’s Waldbühne on July 2nd and 3rd.

“Everyone has tried their best, but the band is not fully recovered yet,” the band said in a statement shared on social media on Sunday.

According to the description, refunds are provided at the time of purchase.

Pearl Jam will now return to the stage at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi on July 6.
