The Formula 1 film, currently in production starring Brad Pitt, is scheduled for release on June 25, 2025 and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the Apple Original Films production is scheduled for worldwide distribution on June 25th next year, but has only been confirmed to release in North America, including in IMAX theaters, on June 27th, 2025.

The as-yet-untitled film features veteran Pete and his rookie teammate Damson Idris driving for the fictional APXGP team, and has been filmed at several races over the past year, including the current grid and all 10 teams. This has been done. Production is ongoing and will continue for several races leading up to this year’s British Grand Prix early next month as well as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.

Produced in collaboration with Formula 1, it was affected by the Screen Actors Guild/Sag-Aftra strike last year, but has since restarted.

In addition to Pitt and Idris, the film stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, Sampson Kayo, and Karlie Cook.
