Poll: Majority of Americans Want Troops on Border, Oppose Illegal Immigration

Polls continue to show two major indictments of the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies: Americans not only overwhelmingly oppose illegal immigration, but they also want to send troops to the southern border and secure it.

Two recent new polls support this trend, but the polls show that Americans overwhelmingly Say no On Vice President Kamala Harris’ role as “border manager.”

“Overall, these numbers reflect the fact that voters view the United States as a nation of immigrants and a nation of laws,” said Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research. “Voters largely understand why immigrants want to bring their families to the land of opportunity. But they are angry at the federal government for allowing and encouraging illegal immigration.”
