Kyren Williams continued his incredible scoring streak for the Los Angeles Rams, proving himself a reliable end zone threat against the Vikings on Thursday night despite the return of key receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

The dynamic running back added to his impressive season numbers when Matthew Stafford connected with him on a pinpoint 5-yard touchdown pass on a critical third-and-goal situation.

This marked Williams’ 10th touchdown of the season, split between eight rushing scores and two receiving scores.

His impact on the Rams’ offense has been significant, accounting for all but two of the team’s touchdowns this season.

The score had additional significance because it represented the Rams’ first opening quarter touchdown of the year. Williams’ contributions on the scoring drive included 18 yards on three carries before securing a touchdown reception to level the score at 7.

Williams’ scoring prowess put him among the elite, extending his touchdown streak to 10 straight games.

This accomplishment is the most impressive accomplishment by a Rams player since Todd Gurley’s 13-game streak spanning the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

The Rams’ offensive momentum continued on the ensuing drive when Stafford, escaping defensive pressure, found Cooper Kupp for a 7-yard touchdown.

The score had special meaning for Kupp, as it marked his first reception since suffering a sprained ankle in Week 2 and a landmark moment that tied him with Elroy Hirsch for third-most in franchise history with 53 receiving touchdowns.

Both sides faced significant adjustments for the remainder of the contest as the teams headed into halftime deadlocked at 14-14.
