It was a bittersweet moment for the up-and-coming MC. TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Dice on Thursday, who praised Scoop for being the stand-up guy who did everything he could to get the “Let It Go” collaboration front and center!!!
He plays us a recording of what Scoop is pushing. Punkmaster Flex What killed the album on Hot 97 was… the artists featured on the song get paid whether the song does well or not, but Scoop was there to pass that on.
Dyce tells us what he recorded in the sample: Ray Jay and Lil KimThe song “Wait a Minute”, released in 2001, was so energetic when he wrote it that he imagined what it would be like if Scoop added his own touch to the chorus.

Scoop convinced Dyce to use the chorus heard on this album, and the Dipset associates felt strangely destined to collaborate.
As fate would have it, his upcoming album is called “Tomorrow Is Never Promised” and will feature the song “Let It Go.”
