Manager Carlo Ancelotti was impressed by the performance of Endric, who scored on his Real Madrid debut in the 3-0 win over Valladolid this afternoon.
The former Palmeiras striker had to wait 10 months to play for Los Blancos because FIFA rules on international transfers prohibit young players, but he scored in injury time to secure a dramatic win for Madrid, although the scoreline was less convincing than it appeared.

The champions were held to a halt by Valladolid until the 50th minute, when Federico Valverde opened the scoring with a wide-open shot. Brahim Diaz added a second with two minutes remaining, and Endric, who had replaced Kylian Mbappe 10 minutes earlier, was even more brilliant.
Ancelotti said of the Brazil international: “He looks good. He has great potential and he showed all his qualities by scoring a goal. He has good control and a good shot.
“He’s a penalty box forward. In tight spaces he’s very, very dangerous.”
Endric made a brief appearance in the second half and made headlines by beating Mbappe, who struggled on his home league debut.
The France captain has failed to score in Madrid’s opening two league games but Ancelotti is unconcerned and defended his decision to deploy Mbappe at the heart of a three-man attack.
“[Mbappé] “He’s a great striker, very quick and moves well without the ball,” the Italian said.
“He’s had three chances. I think he’ll score from that position, like he’s always scored. I don’t think he needs to play left or right. He’ll score.”
