The House Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump released its final report on Tuesday. There were several revelations, but perhaps the most shocking was that a Secret Service agent opened fire on the suspect.
In blank range.
And it totally stinks. Six times.
The second attempt on Trump’s life took place in September 2024 at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Here, a man named Ryan Wesley Ruth was arrested after he was seen holding a rifle near the golf course.
Routh said his Filming location from 1:59 a.m.. Trump arrived at the golf course around 11 a.m. and stayed there for two hours before the Secret Service found Ruth through a massive search.
Unbeknownst to the public, an agent apparently saw Routh point a rifle across the golf course and open fire.
“The agent first noticed the suspect, later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, and then noticed Routh’s gun barrel protruding through the fence line,” the report states. “The special agent, who was probably about five feet away from Ruth, immediately responded by shooting at the suspect.”
“It is believed that a total of six bullets were fired. However, an FBI investigation into the final ballistics is ongoing.”
Secret service attempt, if you fail to shoot you will become an assassin on the second attempt
First of all, who hires and arms bodyguards on the detail that the president-elect is 6-0? You could blindfold Stevie Wonder, spin him around 10 times while his head was on the end of the bat, and have him throw a few balls and he would still hit the guy at least twice.
Hell, Bronny James can hit at least 1 of 6 shots on a decent night.
Fox News host Jesse Watters was truly shocked to hear that Secret Service agents had tried and failed to subdue the man behind the second attempt to assassinate Trump.
“He was only five feet away and he missed it. [Routh] Not once, not twice, but six times,” Watters said. He found it so surprising that he thought it necessary to repeat it.
“He missed him six times from five feet,” Watters said. “How can a trained agent who passed a firearms test miss a target 5 feet away?”

How does this happen?
I want to know how things played out after the Secret Service shot Routh six times without a scratch during the second Trump assassination.
Did his shirt look like Swiss cheese? We don’t know because there is no evidence that the agent even did that. that Finish with his shot.
And did the agent later timidly approach Ruth and arrest him?
The report actually praised this agent’s actions. Although he couldn’t hit the sea with his gun.
“[T]Diligent scanning and successful scanning by special agents [redacted] Former President Trump provided a critical line of defense to avoid disaster that day,” the report said.
“Special agents’ quick response and decision to fire their firearms in the direction of the threat prevented a potentially fatal or other dangerous scenario from occurring.”
Ah, I see. Only six warning shots were fired.
There’s nothing like patting yourself on the back after failing at the only thing you were trained to do in that situation.
