Recently, Robin Uthappa recalled the former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star’s incredible performance for India A in Oman and hinted that he is ready to bring fresh energy to the Indian cricket team in the white-ball format. He said he is really happy to see Ramandeep in national colours.
Uthappa said this in an interview with Hindustan Times. “I love watching him play. I think he’s one of the most exciting prospects we’ve seen recently. He is a multi-talented person. His performance in the IPL is second to none. As a finisher, he bowled 62 balls, scored 125 runs, fielded incredibly well and also bowled when asked.
If you bat 200 and field as well as Ramandeep, we saw more of that when he played for India A in the recently concluded series in Oman. So I’m really looking forward to seeing him play.”
