ingredient
- Chocolate milk – Use any kind of chocolate milk. I used Fairlife milk.
- Chocolate Pudding Mix – You can use regular pudding mix or sugar-free pudding mix.
- cocoa powder – This is optional, but I like to add an extra tablespoon of cocoa powder for a more intense chocolate flavor.
- nuts – You need nuts for the mix-in. You can use roasted peanuts or a mix of your favorite nuts. I used peanuts, pecans, and almonds. I roasted the nuts and then chopped them.
- Marshmallow – Choose mini marshmallows or cut up large ones like I did here. These are a key ingredient in this recipe and make the texture so interesting and fun.
Introducing Ninja Creamy
I’ve tried other ice cream makers and I really like them. Ninja Creamy Above all. The best thing about creamy is that the texture is always perfect! Creamy makes it easier to make ice creams that are very healthy and made with fewer ingredients. For example, one of the most delicious ice creams I have ever made was fresh mango frozen in coconut milk.
Here are the basics on how to use it: Ninja Creamy Machine. Start by freezing your desired ingredients in the provided container for 24 hours. I usually keep several flavors in the freezer so they are ready to use. Once frozen, choose from the settings: ice cream, sorbet, gelato, or mix-in. I always use the “ice cream” setting first. After the first spin, the ice cream will have a chalky texture. Add more liquid (milk or water) to the center of the container and “re-spin.” After the second spin, it is ready to eat. At that point, you can add the mix-ins and do the “mix-in” spin to mix them throughout the pint. It takes about 5-10 minutes to finish a pint of ice cream.

your 1 pint containerCombine chocolate milk, pudding mix, and cocoa powder. Whip until combined. Cover pint and freeze for 24 hours.
Use the Ninja Creamy Machine on the “Ice Cream” setting.
Take out a pint and examine the ice cream. If you think the texture is a little chalky (or not as creamy as you would like), make a hole in the center of the ice cream and add a spoonful of water or milk. Then use the “re-spin” function. Repeat until the texture is creamy.
Finally, add the mix-ins and turn it on again in the “Mix-ins” setting. Serve the ice cream right away. Garnish with toppings or maraschino cherries.
Tips for making
- Add protein – If you want to make high-protein ice cream, try adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder to any mixture.
- When should I provide it? – Creamy ice cream is best when refrozen just before serving. If refrozen for more than a few hours, the ice cream will harden again and you may want to use the “refrost” feature.
- brand – If you make multiple flavors at once, be sure to label each flavor.
