Fabrizio Romano has reassured Liverpool supporters that there is no need to fear speculation about Saudi Arabia’s interest in Allison Becker at this point.
The Saudi Professional League has long been a fan of Mohamed Salah, but there are currently no plans to bring the Reds’ first-team player to Anfield in the upcoming transfer window.
“The rumors about Allison are the same as Kovacic’s. There’s nothing like it.” Italian journalist reports Daily Briefing.
“Today, mentioning the club’s target for July 2025 is just speculation and I am not interested in such things.
“Saudi has long held Allison in high regard, but that’s about it. Predicting his future means creating something.”
The Brazilian international’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027.

Should Liverpool sell Allison Becker?
Fortunately, Liverpool have plenty of time to evaluate their long-term future in goalkeeping thanks to Allison’s long-term contract.
Of course, at the age of 31, the former AS Roma player can look forward to a long career in competitive football and the red half of Merseyside if he so desires. We certainly don’t see Arne Slot signing off any time soon.
Meanwhile, our recruiting team has been acting opportunistically to recruit candidates who can work with Giorgi Mamardashvili long-term.
We are in no rush to offload our first-choice goalkeeper for the Georgia international, but it is reassuring to see that Liverpool have a very interesting goalkeeper waiting in the pipeline when it comes time to put a new player between the sticks.
