Baltimore Ravens tackle Ronnie Stanley has had a tough time with injuries in recent years, but he was able to play in 13 games in 2023. This was his most games played since signing his contract extension in 2020, which made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL.
Stanley recently revealed how he is doing physically and mentally ahead of the 2024 season, and Ravens fans should feel good about their star tackle’s health ahead of a big year.
“I feel more like myself than I have in years,” Stanley said in a recent article for The Athletic. “To see myself really feeling that way, going out there and getting better every day and feeling like myself every day, it makes me really happy.”

Stanley has missed 36 games over the past four seasons and has never started more than 15 games in a season, so this is a very good sign for one of the most injury-prone linemen in the league.
He also just turned 30, so he’ll have plenty of tread left on the tires if he gets healthy, and the team needs him more than ever now that the championship opportunity is wide open after Lamar Jackson won another MVP and advanced to the AFC Championship Game for the first time. We will do this.
The team also signed Derrick Henry this offseason, so the power run game will certainly be a big priority in 2024.
Stanley is one of the best players in the business, and hopefully his rise will be behind him.
