Samsung’s mid -range Galaxy A56 has a bump of AI photos and buttons.

I wanted to see the Galaxy S25 Edge rather than MWC, but I didn’t see it in Samsung Free Show Briefing last week. But what I have seen is interesting for many people. Inexpensive galaxy hardware sculptures in the form of galaxy A56. Starting from $ 499 at the end of this year (or 499 pounds in the UK), it is slightly cheaper than the first pixel 8A. Samsung also announced Galaxy A36 and A26 Today will start at $ 399 and $ 299, respectively.

Many A -series upgrades this year are matched with what we saw in S25. The A56 is thinner than the predecessor from 8.2mm to 7.4mm, almost 6.7 -inch screen. BEZELS, the most prominent visual informing the A series, has shaved the bezel of the device in A56.

The brushed metal frame and a small design twist have been adjusted. There is a slight some protruding bump on the side of the volume and the power button sitting. When I briefly handled the A56, I liked this. It was easier to deal with asymmetry aside. This is amazing because it is a 6.7 -inch device. I was more familiar with a 6.3 -inch phone. The A56 felt less handled. (Samsung’s designer reads a hinge -free editorial in terms of the phone and decided to make the water more muddy?)

This is a mixed bag of camera specifications this year. On the front of the A56 is now lower Less 12 megapixel selfie cameras, with an upgraded 12MP Ultrawide and a 50MP main sensor with an F/1.8 lens and an optical image stabilization on the back. There is still a 5MP macro lens who Outside.

This new camera features the latest upgrades of the S25 product line, featuring many latest upgrades, including rafts of AI functions, including improved image signal processing for better low levels and tambs that are enhanced in portrait mode. Samsung said that the A56 will better recognize the sky, skin, face, hair and grass to improve the bokeh effect.

In relation to editing AI -based images, you can create an object eraser, automatic trim and filter for video, and you can select an existing image and apply color and tone to other photos. You can also get the best faces you can choose from multiple captures for the best expressions of everyone as long as you activate motion photos. These are not new features of smartphones, but add features make the midrange A56 closer to the Galaxy S25.

The A56 gains a flourishing style with a single UI 7, and obtains home screen improvements such as Now Bar, change of notification panels, and expandable widgets of various shapes and sizes. Samsung also promises to update the 6th generation OS (4 at A55 last year) and six years of security update.

As you can see so far, there’s no surprise here. The charging speed is currently 45W, but the 5,000mAh battery is the same as the A55 but the same as the A55. The company says that it can fully charge the device in just an hour. Samsung has changed its own 4nm EXYNOS 1580 chip to about 18 %of CPU boosts. The hardware is once again closer to the quality and premium feeling you see on the Galaxy S device.

Peak mid -range telephone season. The Galaxy A56 goes up against the recently released iPhone 16e, while Google’s Pixel 9a will soon break the cover.

Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26

Samsung also announced the Galaxy A36 5G and the Galaxy A26 5G today, and both are 6.7 -inch screens bright as 1,200 nits and are refreshed at up to 120Hz. It also comes with one UI 7, including functions such as Circle to Search, which was previously released on more expensive telephones. It also features a triple camera system on the rear with a 50MP main sensor, but ultra -high -timed cameras are not as sharp as 8MP to A56. Some of the software features, such as Best Face, are also booked in the A56, but you can still find object erasers and filters updated in cheaper handset pairs.

Finally, the A36 and A26 have the same IP67 and 5,000mAh battery as the A56, but only 6GB RAM, and the A36 uses the SNAPDRAGON 6 Gen 3 processor instead of the A56’s Exynos 1580.

Galaxy A56 price and availability

In the UK, the Galaxy A56 will be held on March 2 and will be released on March 19. It is provided in four “cool” colors, graphite, olives, pink and light gray. This is because a great scream like a brighter gray shades screams. Although the price is set for us, Samsung has not shared more accurate timing of availability than “late this year”.
