Last weekend, Joe and I took the kids to San Francisco to visit my sister and her partner. They have lived there for over 5 years and we have yet to make a trip! It was really special and we had the chance to really see the sights together.
Packing for a long weekend trip like this—in a city with three different climates in one day—can be a challenge. When I asked my sister what to pack for San Francisco, she said to dress in layers, which means something different to each of us.
Sometimes I like to pack for a specific event. In these cases, when the schedule is as flexible as the weather, I find it best to pack within a unified color palette. That way, I can mix and match clothes depending on my mood while I’m there. The colors I choose are neutrals like black, white, and navy, with a few dashes of tomato red.
Here’s a packing list to help you make the most of your “Foggerst” trip to San Francisco.
