8:30 AM: December Consumer Price Index From BLS. The consensus is for CPI to increase by 0.3% and core CPI to increase by 0.2%. CPI is expected to rise 2.9% YoY and core CPI is expected to rise 3.3% YoY.
8:30 a.m.: New York Fed Empire State Manufacturing Survey In January. The consensus is a decline from 0.2 to -2.0.
2pm: Federal Reserve System Beige BookThe Federal Reserve’s informal review of current economic conditions in a region.

8:30 AM: First Weekly Unemployment Claim The report is made public. The consensus was 215,000, up from 201,000 last week.
8:30 AM: retail sales It is scheduled to be released in December. Retail sales are expected to increase by 0.5%.
