‘Shogun’ actor explains health issues

Highly anticipated FX limited series The Shogun was in attendance at a slew of Golden Globes on Sunday night.

But for some fans, the joy of discovering a great new series has been marred by reports of actor Cosmo Jarvis’ illness.

Questions about Jarvis’ health have been circulating on social media, but as is often the case on Twitter/X and elsewhere, the truth of the situation has been obscured by a hodgepodge of misinformation.

Thankfully, Jarvis has spoken openly about his condition, so it’s not difficult to separate the facts from the fear-mongering lies.

Cosmo Jarvis Disease: How is the actor’s health?

Jarvis suffers from type 1 diabetes, and has been surprisingly open about his health issues, admitting that he experiences anxiety and depression due to his condition.

“I think I just did that. [filming]And I’ll probably tell someone I don’t want to celebrate my birthday because I’ll be dead in 10 years,” he says bluntly. “That guy amazes me.” Jarvis once said: that guardianaddition:

Jarvis went on to say that his health issues have made him rethink his relationship with technology.

“I hate technology and everything related to it, but it doesn’t fit my philosophy because it depends on it for survival to some extent,” he explained.

“I completely accept that without technology, diabetics and people with the disease would be the first to die,” Jarvis added.

Although born in the United States, Jarvis spent most of his time in England, where he was a famous actor and musician for several years.

Jarvis is known to be married, but nothing is known about his wife and it doesn’t look like the actor will open his heart any time soon.

Cosmo’s desire for privacy makes his willingness to talk openly about his diabetes all the more commendable.
