The New York Giants completed their seventh training camp practice on Friday, and it was hot, with the heat index reaching over 100 degrees. What made things worse for the players was that they were wearing full pads.

Coach Brian Daboll said before practice that wide receiver Darius Slayton was “tight” and would have a reduced workload as a result. All other injury statuses, including center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder), remained the same, and he remains out.

Safety Tyler Nuvin (calf) and nose tackle Dexter Lawrence (illness) are back on the field.

Giants players will rest on Saturday before returning for their final practice of the week on Sunday.

Let’s take a look at the sights and sounds we saw at practice on Friday.
