Add another honor to the list.

This weekend Dr. Dish Fam member Skylar Diggins-Smith will be participating in her competition. sixth All WNBA All-Star Games have been played since 2014. Diggins-Smith, Sue Bird, Tina Charles and Nneka Ogwumike are the only four players selected six times during that span.

But the selection of a future Hall of Famer did not come without its share of drama. After getting the necessary votes from fans and media alike, Diggins-Smith finished 14th in her player voting, putting her on the outside looking in before her coaches gave her the nod.

And that’s natural.

For Diggins-Smith, 2022 was another big year in her career, finishing in the top five in scoring (19.1 PPG) and steals (1.81 SPG) as well as reaching the 4,000 career point threshold. She’s also been putting on a show on both ends of the floor, with nearly endless highlight reels from the first half of this season.

The 2022 WNBA All-Star Game airs this Sunday, July 10th at 1pm on ABC.
