I tried to stay calm and sometimes not try, but sometimes I got very crazy,” Medvedev told media in Shanghai. said. “And I think what works is what feels like it’s going to work at this moment. You shouldn’t cross the line, that’s for sure, because you could end up defaulting. That’s not good. That wasn’t the case today. .”
The 2021 US Open champion said the pranks can sometimes upset him, but he knows that crossing the behavioral threshold can lead to default.
“When I said it was my first violation, I got the impression that he got angry and said something under his hand or under his mouth, but he didn’t say anything about how he said it. Medvedev muttered: “Oh, you are bad, you are bad.” Bad, you’re bad,” Medvedev said. “And then I got the second code, which I guess may be obvious, but then, and then again. I’m crazy.
“But I knew that if I took advantage of this moment in the game, I would lose the first set, and if I used it to my advantage, I could do it, and I barely did it, so sometimes you need it. It has to be because that’s how sports work too.”

“I played Alex at Wimbledon this year and he played out of this world. I was almost lucky. I wasn’t so lucky because I fought as hard as I could and also played well. But he played very well at Wimbledon.”
