Liverpool has a rich history of fan involvement with the club and the Spirit of Shankly has a supporters’ union committed to upholding the club’s traditional beliefs.

West Ham and Liverpool fans gathered together at Anfield.

This seems to have had a major influence on the current release Spirit of Shankly. Statement on their website This confirmed the following: ‘SOS MC member George Bevan recently attended an informal meeting with the Premier League with fan representatives from Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and the Football Supporters’ Association to talk about ticketing.’

It’s a small step in the direction of possible change, but the fact that our fans are so well represented is a credit to those acting on our behalf.

We should also rightly applaud those at Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United who have publicly committed to real change.

There have been many protests inside Anfield and while they may not always work, one thing is certain: sending a message to those in power will always help reduce further greed in the game.

We should all be grateful that SOS is the voice of the public so that fencing at Wembley, crowd management at the Etihad and many other situations are handled correctly.

We are fortunate to have them join our fight.

Arne Slot’s reign at Liverpool is set to turbocharge as the Reds enter a rollercoaster fixture sequence.
