SSI Payment Schedule

Here are the dates you can receive SSI payments for the rest of the year: Thursday, August 1.

  • Friday, August 30 (as of September)
  • Tuesday, October 1st
  • Friday, November 1st
  • Friday, November 29 (as of December)

Since September 1, 2024, falls on a Sunday, SSI recipients will receive their payments for that month early, on August 30, instead of the usual date of November of this year.

If I receive other Social Security benefits, can I receive those early?

No. In most cases, each Social Security benefit has a simple schedule, and there are only a few instances where it can deviate from the standard schedule. For reference, the August Social Security payment schedule is as follows:

If you received Social Security benefits before May 1997 August 2nd
If your birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of that month August 14th
If your birthday is between the 11th and 20th of that month August 21st
If your birthday is between the 21st and 31st of that month August 28th
