Here in Southern California, we’ve had our biggest rainstorm in years! It’s been going on for weeks and now the sun is back, the air is crisp, everything is green and vibrant and it makes me want to spend more time outside. If you too want to break out your rain boots and get outside and feel the grass between your toes, I’ve got just the thing (well… several, plural) for you. Latest Opalhouse designed by Jungalow Check out the Outdoor Collection at Target! This collection includes outdoor seating, pillows, planters, and pom-poms. Dust off your sunglasses, put on your wide-brimmed hat, and explore the jungle!

I love our bright, bold, sun-kissed moments. rattan pod, Sun Puff And matching outdoor Sun Pillow. The yellow stripes on the pod cushions remind me of the striped tents I used to see when I lived in Italy. There’s something timeless and fun about classic stripes. And the bold pom-pom hats on the pods are one of my favorite design details in this collection. Gives me a limoncello vibe!

In this collection, I wanted to bring earthy tones and organic shapes to the forefront, especially in the form of pots. Pots and plants are a great way to create visual interest in any outdoor space. They can also define spaces, make otherwise stark spaces (like a concrete balcony) more lively, and if you have plants that are anchored to the ground and have different light and water needs than those that are anchored to the ground, they can be used to help them move around. And for those of us who don’t have outdoor space around our homes, pots are a great way to bring the outdoors inside! Indoor plants add life, color, and dimension to any room. These are Terracotta Flower Pot They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are perfect for larger indoor or outdoor plants. I also love the wavy pattern. Sky blue flower pot – It reminds me of waves in water. Pepper plants and Lantern Depending on the different sizes and heights (e.g. above) Wavy side table) not only guides the eye across a space, but also creates a layered feel that can be curated indoors or outdoors.

This is really atmospheric!!! I love patterns. But did you know that I also love match-match pattern moments? When the same pattern is repeated on multiple surfaces. Like this one. umbrella, pillow and Ceramic side tableIt’s a great way to create cohesion and adds an unexpected throwback to the 60s and 70s, when people often used the same print or pattern on their curtains, sofas, and table linens. It’s a modern twist on a vintage trend.

If you want to make the match-match pattern moment a little more subtle, or want to try this trend indoors because you don’t have a lot of outdoor space, you can pair it with: Aqua Print Pillow With Blue Plant Stand and Aqua Planter (The price is really good, though…only $20!).

I always have a hard time choosing a favorite item. Opalhouse designed by Jungalow I dropped it but I think this umbrella This might be one of my favorites in the collection! The pattern (digitally sculpted from my own drawings), the fringe, and the fact that it’s angled so it can block out the sun as it moves across the sky just makes me happy!

Thank you so much for joining us on this sunny adventure! We look forward to having a mojito (or two!) here. If you’re looking for a jungle-like outdoor atmosphere, Check out the Opalhouse Designed With Jungalow collection here.
