After the celebrations in Mumbai, Suryakumar returned home to a warm surprise prepared by his family. In keeping with Indian tradition, they welcomed him with dhol performers who set the festive mood. An aarti was performed at the entrance and the couple was garlanded, a customary gesture of respect and celebration. The joyous occasion was further enhanced when Suryakumar’s mother and other family members joined the couple in a celebratory dance.
