Suspect who shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson Manhattan may have used special weapons more commonly found on farms. At least according to the police.

NYPD Chief of Investigations joseph kenney Police investigators on Friday told reporters they were looking into the possibility that the gunman used a veterinary gun, a larger gun commonly used on ranches and farms.
Kenny says these special, larger firearms are used on animals. “Because if you need to take down an animal, you can shoot without making a loud noise.”
Police say no gun has been recovered so far. But the NYPD said: backpack was found Central Park is being investigated as possibly belonging to a suspect.

Police said video showed the suspect riding his bicycle from the scene of the shooting to Central Park, then leaving the park on his bicycle and taking a taxi to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Police believe he left New York City entirely by bus, possibly traveling out of state.
The NYPD previously said the suspect arrived in New York by bus from Atlanta and checked into a hostel using a fake ID. Police released a photo of the suspect’s face, but his identity has not been confirmed.
