As a child, I liked Chinese food (especially PF Chang varieties) and ate it often. I cry at that time to think about MSG, high fructose corn syrup and how many terrible ingredients. Asian salad dressing was one of the foods on the list.
When I switched to real food, I decided to find a healthier alternative without taking the processing version.
One of my favorite things was a delicious Asian salad with amazing dressing at a small restaurant. Of course, I had to reproduce it. This Asian Salad Dressing Recipe is the result. I like to stir it for fast side salad toppings or for marinade for meat or fish.
This dressing is delicious with night marinade to make coli flower rice or sesame chicken. It takes a few minutes to make and is full of taste. If you need to swap, see the replacement recipe.
Sweet Asian Salad Dressing Recipe
Simple salad dressing recipe with ginger, coconut amino and honey hints. It also creates a great dipping sauce or marinade for meat and fish.

Combine all the materials of the small mason jar with the lid or blender.

Shake the jar vigorously or mix for 10-15 seconds until soft and well combined.

Taste and adjust it. If you prefer sweetness, add extra honey or maple syrup. For Tangier Vinaigrette, add more apple cider vinegar or citrus juice.

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake well before each use.
Replacement
- Freshly dry ginger: Fresh ginger gives the dressing more intense and enthusiastic. Dried ginger is light, but it still offers a warm spicy taste.
- Hub optionAdd fresh herbs like Cilantro or Parsley to create a fresh herb layer in the dressing. Take them out for a simpler Vine grett.
- sweetness: Adjust the sweetness of what you like with honey or maple syrup.
- Lemon juice: Use bright and citrus twists using fresh lemon or lime juice instead of apple vinegar. Rice wine vinegar or rice vinegar also work, and it fits the Asian flavor theme.
- Coconut amino: Not everyone has a coconut amino. If it is still not delicious, the delicious sodium soy sauce is still delicious. Tamari (traditional Japanese sauce) is similar, but there is no gluten.
- olive oil: Olive oil can have a very powerful taste that everyone doesn’t like in salad dressing. Use an extra virgin olive oil to use it for the whole taste or use a regular olive oil for a light version. The version purchased in many stores uses canola oil or grape oil, but they are not the best options (for many reasons).
How to use Asian Salad Dressing
I use this dressing for too many other dishes. I have already mentioned that it makes a good Mari -nam (of course a salad dressing). Here are more service ideas:
- Make a side salad or a large green salad and eat it with chicken. I like dark leaves for nutrition and I like romaine to add crunch.
