LIVERPOOL, England (CelebrityAccess) — Taylor Swift announced that her record-breaking Eras World Tour will officially end in December, putting to rest speculation that it could extend into 2025.
Swift broke the news to fans at the tour’s 100th show at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on Thursday, telling 150,000 fans: “This is the first time I’ve acknowledged and acknowledged to myself that this tour is going to end in December.”
“This tour has really become my whole life,” Swift said. “It’s like I once had a hobby.” Swift added, “When I’m not on stage, all I do is sit at home and think of crazy acoustic song mashups.” And think about what you want to hear.”
This tour, first announced on November 27, lasted only 27 days at launch, but quickly expanded due to overwhelming demand from fans.
Swift is in the midst of a 51-show European tour and will return to the United States in the fall for the final series of ‘Eras’ dates before the tour concludes at Vancouver’s BC Place on December 8.
