The 3 Best Prop Bets for Week 13

MONews

The Dallas Cowboys (4-7) take on the New York Giants (2-8) at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving in a showdown between longtime NFC East rivals.

But that doesn’t mean people who bet on these games can’t make money. There is always an angle to explore. Here are the three best suggestions for turkeys in this game (odds provided: BettingMGM).

Cowboy RB Rico Dowdle 67.5 rushing yards (-115)

The Giants have allowed an average of 185.5 yards on the ground over their last five games. Rico Dowdle is the top running back and quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) is questionable. Connect the dots here. While Dowdle hasn’t filled the box score the way the Cowboys had hoped this season, those numbers are low considering how bad the Giants’ D has been recently.

Giants scoring 20 or more points (full game) (+275)

The Giants have averaged just 12.3 points per game during their current six-game losing streak. They have scored 20 or more points in a game only three times this season. They lost their first game against Dallas 20-15. Throw all that away. Think like a naysayer here. The Giants should be able to move the ball in this game with a short passing game and a solid rushing attack against a questionable Cowboys defense. They will also try to get the football to Malik Nabers early and often on Thursday. They will never make that mistake again. Oh, and did we mention that Dallas has allowed an average of 33 points to opponents over the last six games?

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. 100+ rushing/receiving yards (+195)

The Cowboys have allowed 369.9 yards per game (27th) and 150.1 yards on the ground (31st) this season. Despite recent ball security issues, Tyrone Tracy Jr. is still the Giants’ best option in the backfield. Since his breakout game in Week 5, Tracy has passed for more than 100 yards from scrimmage four times. If the Giants remain committed to him, he should sign another player this week.
