The New York Times Fails to Unseat Joe Biden

The New York Times has campaigned relentlessly and unsuccessfully since the presidential debates to oust Biden as the Democratic nominee, and now the paper is shifting its focus.

After Biden gave one of the best speeches of his presidential campaign So far in Detroit The New York Timess explained, “Mr. Biden rallied in Detroit with thousands of cheering and chanting supporters, rejected calls to end his reelection campaign, described Mr. Trump as a convicted criminal, a rapist and a fraud, and attacked the news media for its lack of focus on his opponent’s misdeeds. It was a spirited performance, but it remains to be seen whether Mr. Biden can campaign with that energy into November, or convince his supporters that he can lead for another four years.”

Biden did not portray Trump as a nobody. President Biden told the factual truth that the courts found Trump to be a convicted felon, a rapist, and a massive business fraud.

The last line of the Times article is interesting. The Times changed from saying Biden should go now to saying Biden should maintain the same level of energy he showed in Detroit until November. As the Times changed its criteria, President Biden won.

Before the NATO press conference, there were reports that 40 House Democrats would break with Biden and call for him to step down. Those 40 Democrats never happened. The mainstream media kept telling the nation this week that the dam would break for the president, but that never happened.

If Biden delivers another strong, unedited performance on NBC News’ Primetime Special with Lester Holt on Monday, The media-created narrative that Biden must step down will end.

We should not forget that the New York Times tried and failed to call for the President’s resignation.
