The petition alleges that Reed and Sharon produced a document titled an “asset inventory” demanding that Pickler turn over certain items via subpoena. Some of them she claims she doesn’t have or that ownership is in dispute.

Among the items they requested was Kyle’s firearms collection, which reportedly consisted of three rifles, seven pistols, a shotgun, a silencer and a gun safe. His parents are also asking for his watches and jewelry, baseball card collection, musical instruments and personal devices.

Kyle’s parents also reportedly took items from Pickler’s home without telling him.

“As part of this action, Mr. Pickler is seeking an order requiring the Joint Administrator to identify items obtained from his home,” the petition reads.

Meanwhile, Reed and Sharon are disputing Pickler’s claims that he didn’t know where some of the requested items were or that he didn’t have the rights to them. The petition also states that Pickler knew what items to take because he had set them aside specifically for Kyle’s parents.

Reed and Sharon are requesting that Pickler’s petition be dismissed because the couple has gone through a prenuptial process outlining future ownership of Kyle’s property.

Pickler later obtained a protective order prohibiting either party from sharing any recordings or videos of his testimony to avoid “annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, or undue burden or expense.”

Kyle’s parents are opposing the order, claiming it “seeks to protect information/documents that do not yet exist.” ‘I’m embarrassed’ [Pickler’s] Suggested orders will be added free of charge.”

Reed and Sharon filed their objections on November 7, and the lawsuit remains ongoing.
