The Los Angeles Rams were impressive as they defeated the Minnesota Vikings and advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs.
Their defense was very impressive, sacking Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold nine times, and LA signal-caller Matthew Stafford was solid, going 19-for-27 and throwing two touchdown passes.
But the Rams will now face a very stern test when they play the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, with snow expected to fall on game day.
According to Dov Kleiman, this weather forecast is bad news for Stafford, ages 1 to 8, who has performed very poorly in snowy conditions for several years.
great: #rams QB Matthew Stafford is terrible when it comes to the eye game.
• 1 to 8 records
• 54.6 completion percentage
• Blocked 11 times

Snowy weather is considered true football weather, and many quarterbacks cannot maintain their usual level of play in those conditions, especially come playoff time.
That seems to apply to Stafford, who has a 54.6 percent completion percentage and 76.0 passing percentage with 11 interceptions in nine snow games.
Stafford is from Florida, played high school football in Texas, and played 12 seasons for the Detroit Lions in extremely harsh winter climates, but the team has long played in Ford Field, a domed stadium.
He led the Rams to a Super Bowl championship in their first year together just three years ago, and bounced back quickly thanks to a stellar draft after a dismal 2022 campaign.
Young stars like running back Kyren Williams, wide receiver Puka Nacua, defensive end Kobie Turner and rookie linebacker Jared Verse have supplemented a team that has become increasingly thin and long.
Even if they lose this game, if Stafford, who turns 37 early next month, stays healthy and performs well, the immediate future will be bright.
