According to a source familiar with the story, which will soon air on CNN, the revelations about Robinson include her liking transgender porn in online chats, peeping into the women’s locker room while she was studying at NC A&T, and wanting to own slaves. #ncpol
Robinson canceled his campaign event today because of the upcoming article, and pressure is growing within the Republican Party to drop out of the race.
North Carolina is a key presidential battleground state. Polls show Kamala Harris He is slightly ahead or tied with Donald Trump.
Robinson has already won by double digits in the race, but if he continues to run, he could defeat Trump and turn the Tar Heel state back into a Democratic state for the first time since 2008. Robinson has run as a hard-right MAGA Republican.
In North Carolina, ballots are mailed out tomorrow, so today is the deadline for Robinson to mail his ballot.
His campaign is likely over, but CNN’s story and others likely to follow could create a mushroom cloud of political damage that could flip the state to the Democrats in November.
