These mutual fund houses had over Rs 10,000 crore in cash in May – MF Watch

As of May 2024, there was a cash allocation of over Rs 10,000 crore in the portfolios of about four mutual fund houses. According to data from ACE MF, here is the split:

SBI Mutual Fund
The largest fund house had cash allocation of Rs 27,070 crore in its portfolio as of May 2024. This allocation was 4.52% of total AUM. The asset AUM of the fund house was Rs 5.72 lakh crore.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund

The fund house has cash of Rs 20,552 crore in its portfolio as of May 2024. This allocation is 6.37% of total AUM. The equity AUM was Rs 3.02 lakh crore.

HDFC Mutual Fund
The fund house has Rs 20,377 crore cash in its portfolio as of May 2024. This is 6.50% of total AUM. Its capital AUM is Rs 2.93 lakh crore.

PPFAS Mutual Fund
The fund house’s total cash allocation was Rs 10,641 crore as of May 2024. This is 15.24% of total AUM. Equity AUM was Rs 59,196 crore.

Other fund houses
Other 38 mutual fund houses in the MF industry had cash allocations ranging between Rs 509 crore and Rs 9,355 crore as of May 2024.
