Norwegian defender Henning Berg joined the Blackburn Rovers in Kenny Dalglish in 1993 in £ 400,000.

Lightback, who was transferred from Lilesteng, spent four years in Rovers and joined Manchester United in the summer of 1997 after winning the league in 1994/95.
BERG earned a treble in United in the 1998/99 season and returned to Ewood Park in 2000 after winning the Premier League next season. Another trophy was obtained, winning the League Cup with the 2002 Tottenham Hotspur. His last season as a player was in Scotland with Glasgow Rangers, and he came up with the Scottish Premier League title.

On the international stage, BERG played 100 games in the Norwegian uniform from 1992 to 2004, and in the 1994 and 1998 World Cup.

After his career, BERG started coaches and is currently in charge of Cyprus Team AEK LARNACA. He had a short time for Blackburn for only 57 days!
