The English Premier League is home to some of the best creators in the industry. They can change the course of a game in an instant by creating opportunities out of thin air and providing assists on cue. Given the talent in the league, many expect the players to dominate all charts, including those of key support providers. Surprisingly, so far, that hasn’t been the case. Representatives from other top European leagues hold their own, with only Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka topping the list of top creators.

5th place Harry Kane (Bayern Munich): 7 assists
Starting off the list is Bayern Munich talisman Harry Kane. The former Tottenham Hotspur frontman, known for his ruthless finishing, has flexed his creative muscles this season, recording a joint-leading seven assists in 10 Bundesliga games. Naturally, Kane was devastating in front of goal, scoring 11 goals, the joint-most in the Bundesliga. Kane’s best performance came in a 6–1 win over Holstein Kiel on 14 September, with the England skipper scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist to ensure routing.
Kane had the best season of his career, scoring 36 goals in 32 Bundesliga games in the 2023-24 season. Unfortunately, his heroics were only enough for the European Golden Shoe and not the Bundesliga title. He’ll hope to have better luck this time.
4th place Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt): 7 assists
Eintracht Frankfurt is showing strong growth in the Bundesliga this season, rising to 3rd place in the league rankings. All of Frankfurt’s players have played their part, but it is no exaggeration to say that Omar Marmoush was the driving force behind their standout. The 25-year-old centre-forward has emerged as the Bundesliga’s joint-leading scorer and assist provider, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in 10 appearances.
Marmoush produced his best performance of the season in a 4–2 win over Holstein Kiel on 29 September. He scored two goals and provided two assists to help Frankfurt to an impressive win at home.
3rd place Bukayo Saka (Arsenal): 7 assists
Arsenal poster boy Bukayo Saka has cashed in this season, emerging as the Premier League’s leading assist provider. The England international has registered seven assists in 10 appearances in the English top-flight. Saka also showed quite well in front of the goal, scoring three goals.
Saka reached the peak of his creative prowess in a 3–1 win over Southampton on 5 October. He registered an assist and scored a fine goal to propel the Gunners to a vital win in the Premier League.
2nd place Raphinha (Barcelona): 8 assists
Raphinha has been nothing short of a revelation under new Barcelona coach Hansi Flick. The German tactician gave him the freedom and imagination to stretch his legs, and the results were there for all to see. Raphinha has made 13 appearances and provided 8 assists since the start of the 2024-25 La Liga season. He was also prolific in front of goal, hitting the back of the net seven times in the Spanish top division. His heroics were instrumental in helping Barcelona climb to the top of the La Liga table.
Raphinha’s best performance came on August 31, when he scored a hat-trick and provided an excellent assist in a 7-0 thrashing of Real Valladolid.
1st Nuno Tavares (Lazio): 8 assists
Portuguese left-back Nuno Tavares, who has fallen out of favor at Arsenal, has joined Lazio on a season-long loan at the start of the 2024-25 season. Tavares knew he had to prove himself and over the past three months he hasn’t missed a single opportunity to do so. In nine games in Serie A, Tavares has emerged as Europe’s best creator with eight assists.
His best performance came in his Serie A debut for Lazio on 1 September. He provided two assists as Lazio held AC Milan to a 2-2 draw.
