Travis Kelce wins David Njoku’s famous home run derby.

EAST LAKE, Ohio (AP) — Travis Kelce’s influence extends beyond the football field or the celebrity news cycle.

The talented Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is also the boyfriend of pop superstar Taylor Swift, showed off his hitting skills by winning a home run contest Saturday at a charity softball event hosted by Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku.

Kells, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, arrived at Classic Park, home of the minor league Lake County Captains, just as the event was getting underway. Kelce shook hands with some fans as he headed onto the field, then he greeted Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Once at the plate, Kelce, a former high school baseball player, put up an impressive performance, hitting 11 long balls in the final round. After connecting on his final swing and sending another ball over the fence to seal the win, Kelce flipped his bat over in celebration and rounded the bases for the win.

He received a trophy to show to Swift when she performs a concert in Scotland this weekend.

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has become close with Njoku, who attended Tight End University in the offseason in recent years.

“That’s my man,” Njoku said. “He’s one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met in my life. He always means well. Overall, he’s really great.”

Kelce has always supported Cleveland’s baseball team, and last year he unlucky The official first pitch, which he spiked like a soccer ball.

Kelce has been busy all offseason. He recently participated in organized team activities for the Chiefs and visited the White House when President Joe Biden hosted the Super Bowl champions.
